Welcome to my site dedicated to my reef tank. Use the navigation buttons on the left to visit the individual sections of this site.
For those of you who don't know, a reef tank is a salt water tropical aquarium which tries to mimic a coral reef environment and is home to both fish, corals and crustaceans. I originally set up my reef tank in January 99 and felt that the results were worth sharing on from about June 99.

If you are a newcomer to reef tanks you may want to check out my photo album for a more comprehensive view of the contents of my tank.
For fellow hobbyists I have included a detailed database of all of the species in my tank and a diary. There are plenty of things that I don't know about my tank inhabitants so please feel free to email me with any advice or extra information that you can give me.

If you are considering setting up a reef tank for yourself then take a look at my advice section. I have tried to record the most important things that I have learned - there is a section dedicated to beginners. You may also want to go to the equipment page to get a detailed overview of all of the bits and pieces that keep the tank alive.

Hope you enjoy the site - if you have any comments or suggestions then please email me.
